Health and Safety

This policy is the basis upon which the Health and Safety activities of AMPO were founded. AMPO is committed to provide a safe and healthy workplace and conducting its business activities in a manner that protects the environment. • • To ensure safe handling and use of substances.
• • To provide information, instruction and supervision for employees.
• • To ensure all employees are competent to do their tasks, and to give them adequate training.
• • To prevent accidents and cases of work-related ill health.
• • To maintain safe and healthy working conditions.
• • Continual improvement of HSE performance.

Environmental

AMPO is committed to lead the industry in minimizing the impact of its activities on the environment.

The key points of its strategy to achieve this are:

• • Minimize waste by evaluating operations and ensuring they are as efficient as possible.
• • Minimize toxic emissions through the selection and use of its fleet and the source of its power requirement.
• • Actively promote recycling both internally and amongst its customers and suppliers.
• • Source and promote a product range to minimize the environmental impact of both production and distribution.
• • Meet or exceed all the environmental legislation that relates to the Company.
